A new tram route (Stage I) connecting the Poznań district of Naramowice with the city centre — from the Wilczak loop to the loop at Błażeja Street. Under a "design and build" formula, approx. 3.3 km of track and nearly 7.5 km of roads (including access roads and intersections) and 8 stops were built. The contractor was a consortium of Gülermak (Ankara), Mosty Łódź S.A., and Gülermak Sp. z o.o. The investment was co-financed with European Union funds. The route was opened on 23 April 2022.

Significance
The route provides the first direct tram connection between the dynamically expanding Naramowice district and the centre of Poznań — residents waited more than two decades for an investment of this scale. The new corridor relieves the congested Naramowicka Street and reduces travel time to the city centre.
