Świnoujście Offshore Terminal – ORLEN Neptun Offshore Wind Farm Installation Terminal
Poland's first installation terminal for offshore wind farms, put into operation at the port of Świnoujście in June 2025 (official opening on 10 June 2025). The facility, owned by ORLEN Neptun of the ORLEN Group, occupies approx. 20 ha and has two quays with a combined length of approx. 500 m, adapted for handling the largest jack-up and heavy-lift vessels as well as offshore wind farm components weighing up to 24,000 tons. The value of the investment was almost EUR 39 million. The terminal's target capacity is more than 80 offshore wind turbines per year. The terminal serves as both an installation and a marshalling port, and its first tenant was the Ocean Winds consortium (the BC-Wind project). An expansion is planned by 2030 to add quays nos. 3 and 4 (530 m in total, ultimately more than 1 km of quays) and a storage yard with an area of approx. 46 ha, initially estimated at approx. PLN 210 million, though funding for it is currently lacking (an application to the EU's CEF 2 instrument did not obtain support).

Significance
The terminal is the first in Poland and one of the most modern in Europe as an installation base for offshore wind farms, giving the national offshore energy sector its own logistics base on the Baltic and strengthening Świnoujście's role as the region's maritime energy hub. It serves not only the ORLEN Group's projects (Baltic East, Baltic West) but also external domestic and foreign operators, including Ocean Winds and Smulders, and approx. 95 Polish companies were involved in its construction. The planned doubling of the area by 2030 is to enable the parallel handling of the construction of two wind farms on the Baltic.
