Rail Baltica – Polish E75 Section (Warsaw – Białystok – Ełk – Trakiszki)
A staged modernization of the Polish section of the international E75 Rail Baltica railway line from Warsaw via Białystok and Ełk to Trakiszki on the border with Lithuania, carried out by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. and co-financed from the EU CEF "Connecting Europe" instrument. The Warszawa Rembertów–Sadowne and Sadowne–Czyżew sections were completed in 2015 and 2019; the modernization of Czyżew–Białystok (71 km, over PLN 3.3 billion net) began in 2020, and the record tender for the 100-kilometre Białystok–Ełk section (works planned through 2029) remained unresolved as of mid-2026 due to disputes before the National Appeals Chamber (KIO); the final stage is to be the Ełk–Trakiszki section (94 km).

Significance
After modernization, passenger trains on the Białystok–Ełk section are to run at speeds of up to 200 km/h, cutting the journey to 55 minutes; on the earlier sections passenger trains will accelerate to 160 km/h and freight trains to 120 km/h. The E75 corridor is part of a trans-European rail connection intended to link Poland with Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and ultimately with Finland.

Independence is counted the same way the gate that admits a record counts it: subdomains and titles from one publisher are a single voice, Wikipedia is zero. That is why the number is lower than the number of links. Three is the minimum.
