New Łódź Fabryczna Station (with multimodal hub)
The reconstruction of Łódź Fabryczna station into an underground, multi-level railway station integrated with a multimodal hub combining suburban and long-distance rail, bus, urban transport, and car traffic. Four platforms were placed underground, and the facility was designed as a through station for the future cross-city tunnel and the planned high-speed rail network. The station was cleared for operation in December 2016.

Significance
The largest underground multimodal station of its kind in Poland, integrating rail, long-distance bus, urban transport, and car traffic in a single facility in the centre of Łódź. The facility remains a terminus until the completion of the cross-city tunnel connecting Łódź Fabryczna with the Łódź Kaliska and Łódź Żabieniec stations, whose opening has been repeatedly delayed; only after it is put into service will the station begin to function as a through station and fully use the infrastructure it was designed for.
