under construction stage: construction
1.3 bn PLN
programme budget (multi-year) · data from 2025 ≈ 1.3 bn PLN (value-by-stage, est., nominal)

A multi-year investment programme at Poznań-Ławica Airport with a total value of approx. PLN 1.274 billion, covering the modernisation and expansion of terminal and airfield infrastructure. Approx. PLN 600 million is earmarked for terminal expansion (including expansion of the check-in hall by approx. 1,360 m²), approx. PLN 160 million for a new aircraft apron, and approx. PLN 356 million for investments in renewable energy sources, including a so-called hydrogen model — a hub producing hydrogen from electrolysis powered by photovoltaic energy. In 2025 modernisation works were underway (including on the Central Security Control Zone), and in November 2025 a tender was announced for the documentation of the check-in hall expansion, whose delivery is planned before the 2027 high season.

Significance

The programme is intended to increase the capacity and comfort of handling growing traffic in Poznań (in 2024 the airport handled approx. 3.6 million passengers), creating new aircraft parking positions and an enlarged check-in hall. A distinctive element, unusual for a Polish regional airport, is the energy component worth approx. PLN 356 million, covering renewable energy sources and a hydrogen hub, which places the investment within the energy transformation of aviation.
