Vantage WAW1 Data Center Campus in Warsaw

Vantage Data Centers, a US operator of hyperscale data center campuses, is building the WAW1 campus in Warsaw's Bielany district on a plot of approximately 5 ha (12 acres). The campus is ultimately to comprise two four-story data center buildings with a combined area of approximately 36,000 m² and 48 MW of IT capacity (the first facility 16 MW, the second 32 MW). Construction began in July 2021, and the first of the buildings was completed and made available to customers in June 2022. This is the operator's first data center in Poland.

Significance

The WAW1 campus is Vantage Data Centers' first data center in Poland and an example of foreign investment in digital infrastructure in the Warsaw region. The first of the two buildings was completed and made available to customers in 2022; after full expansion, the campus is to offer 48 MW of IT capacity for hyperscale and cloud customers.
