Construction of the S8 expressway from Wrocław (Magnice) to Kłodzko in the Kłodzko Valley, carried out by GDDKiA. The entire corridor has been divided into seven sections, of which – as of June 2026 – six are already under construction, while the final Bardo–Kłodzko fragment remains at the preparation stage (technical, economic and environmental study). The individual sections are to be opened to traffic, depending on the fragment, in the years 2028–2033. The route is being built under the "Design and build" system as a dual carriageway with two lanes in each direction and hard shoulders.

Spreading the implementation over seven sections opened in stages up to 2033 makes this route one of the largest and longest-running road undertakings in Lower Silesia.
