Homar-K Programme — Rocket Artillery (K239 Chunmoo, CGR-080 production in Poland)
The Homar-K programme is the acquisition for the Polish Armed Forces of South Korean K239 Chunmoo multiple-launch rocket systems (in the Polish version on a Jelcz chassis and with the Topaz fire-control and command system from WB Group). The framework agreement of 19 October 2022 provides for the delivery of a total of 288 launchers for 16 rocket artillery battalions in the years 2023–2028, together with a stock of ammunition. The first executive contract (USD 3.55 billion net) was concluded on 4 November 2022, and the first launchers reached units (including the 18th Artillery Regiment) as early as 2023. A second executive contract worth approx. USD 1.6 billion net for 72 launcher modules, with delivery in 2026–2029, was concluded in April 2025. In December 2025, the Armament Agency concluded an executive contract worth approx. PLN 14 billion for the delivery of thousands of Polish-made CGR-080 guided missiles (calibre 239 mm, range up to 80 km); these will be manufactured by the joint-venture company Hanwha WB Advanced Systems (Hanwha Aerospace and WB Group) in a new plant in Gorzów Wielkopolski. The programme is dominated by the purchase of armament in South Korea, and therefore the record serves a function of strategic visibility, while the recorded amount covers exclusively the isolable Polish component of CGR-080 missile production, and not the full value of the programme (on the order of tens of billions of PLN). The record is of a purely strategic character (visibility of the defence programme) — its cost is NOT counted toward the 'value by stage' aggregate, because the amounts quoted are the value of armament-acquisition contracts, and not a separated outlay on Polish production.

Significance
Homar-K is building the backbone of Poland's long-range rocket artillery, multiplying many times over the number and range of launchers (the CGR-080 missile reaches up to 80 km) compared with worn-out Soviet-generation systems. A key element of the programme is — for the first time in history — the launch in Poland of the production of precision ammunition for rocket artillery: the CGR-080 missiles are to be produced at the plant of the joint-venture company Hanwha WB Advanced Systems in Gorzów Wielkopolski, together with a transfer of technology to WB Group. Domestic missile production reduces dependence on foreign supplies and creates durable industrial and servicing capabilities in the area of rocket ammunition.
