programme budget (multi-year) · data from 2019 ≈ 1.3 bn PLN (value-by-stage, est., nominal) funding: EBRD (loan of PLN 209 million)

The largest onshore wind farm in Poland, spread across the border of the Pomorskie and Zachodniopomorskie voivodeships, approximately 9 km from the Baltic shore. In the first stage, 81 General Electric turbines with a combined capacity of 219 MW were commissioned; after a further expansion, completed in March 2023, the complex grew to 98 turbines and approximately 257 MW of installed capacity. The investor is Potęgowo Mashav, owned by the Israeli fund Mashav; the construction was co-financed by, among others, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Significance

With a capacity on the order of 257 MW, the complex is the largest onshore wind installation in the country and one of the larger facilities of its kind in Europe, significantly increasing the national potential for generating energy from onshore wind. The farm surpassed the previous leader — the Margonin farm (approximately 120 MW) — in capacity and became a benchmark for the scale of onshore wind power in Poland.
